The Saramaccan language is one of the many languages spoken in Suriname. This language is spoken by the Saramaccan people, descendants of the African slaves. This New Testament was published in 1991. Curently the Suriname Bible Society is working on the translation of the Old Testament and the revision of this New Testament in which the complete Bible in the Saramaccan language will be published in 2020.
